certified iyengar instructor

myra is co-director of yoga source and a certified iyengar yoga instructor. as a student of yoga for over 13 years, and a teacher for over 8, she remains a humble beginner. she has studied and apprenticed with john schumacher, her primary teacher and influence, since 2004. her first trip to the iyengar institute in pune, india was in 2010 and is looking forward to studying with the iyengars again in 2012.

by observing and contemplating the self through asana, meditation and pranayama, myra encourages her students to develop the sensitivity and intelligence of body, mind and breath as a way to find freedom, truth and beauty in their lives.
