prenatal

Whether it's your first baby or your fifth, prenatal yoga helps prepare for the birth of your child by stretching and strengthening the muscles used during pregnancy and labor. Prenatal instructors will assist expecting mothers to tune in and turn on the muscles of the shoulders, back, hips and legs to create a more vibrant, strong and energetic pregnancy. There is also a strong emphasis on your inner power - with breathing techniques, and guided imagery for relaxation and stamina during labor.

Prenatal yoga can also alleviate the common discomforts of pregnancy like backache, swelling, insomnia, indigestion and constipation. Women who practice prenatal yoga often experience an easier and speedier postpartum recovery.

Celebrate and find joy in your female power during this most sacred time in your life - come enjoy a supportive community of women as you:

  • increase your vitality, energy and strength
  • discover breathing techniques to quiet your mind and release tension

Prenatal yoga is for women of all fitness levels; however, depending on the circumstances of your pregnancy, seeking a doctor's opinion is always a good idea.
