Yoga is FUN! Adults practice yoga for many of the same reasons that children practice yoga.
To begin with, yoga is good for the body. For adults, we need to “use it or loose it.” For children, yoga guides and supports growth. Yoga teaches kids about their bodies and how to care for themselves. Age appropriate yoga postures, movement and relaxation techniques help to create supple, strong bodies that can adapt to the dynamics of life.
Yoga is good for the mind. This class offers movement activities which foster the imagination as well as direct students through movement patterns which stimulates brain development.
Yoga is good for the soul. Through yoga your child will blossom and discover their own innate sense of joy; acknowledge and nurture their special gifts and strengths while honoring those of others.
Children benefit in the practice of yoga just as much as adults. But more often than adults we hear kids say, “Yoga is Fun!”
