restoratives, pranayama & meditation

Perhaps the most insidious culprit at work in our society today against wholeness and health issues is stress. Stress increases blood pressure, breathing rate, and muscle blood flow and impairs digestion and releases hormones which chemically alters the body into “flight or fight.” However, by changing our internal environment, we can reverse the physiological effects of chronic stress.

Join Lisa in this class focusing on the subtleties of our internal bodies. Enjoy a supportive and quieting asana practice (restoratives), the power of directing your breathing (pranayama) and learn techniques for conscious relaxation (meditation).

For continuing beginners, teachers and experienced practioners.

policies


registration & attendance
Registration required to attend. Please call 804.359.YOGA (9642) to enroll. Spaces limited due to the prop intensive nature of this class. All students must check in at the front desk before the start of the class.

refunds & cancellations
There are no refunds after February 11th. All cancellations will be charged a one time $15 administrative fee. In the event of illness or emergency, credit will be issued to your account only if notified before the start of the class. No credits issued once the event has begun (3pm).

yoga source reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. if this is necessary, a full refund will be issued.
