2. What style of yoga is the Sadhana 300-hr Advanced program?
As an advanced yoga teacher training, there is not one style of yoga that is taught. The purpose of this training is to advance teaching skills in restorative, yin, yoga nidra, and myofascial release, while deepening trainees’ understanding of spine, hip, and shoulder anatomy to better equip teachers to help students heal and grow stronger. In addition, more time and study will be allotted to meditation, pranayama, the subtle body, and Ayurveda – the deeper practices and sciences of yoga. Trainees will also learn valuable teaching and practice skills in sequencing, working with trauma, assisting, inclusivity, and service.
3. How proficient in yoga do I have to be to do the 300-hour program?
We accept 200-hr graduates from any Yoga Alliance recognized school, 200-hr yoga teachers wishing to earn continuing credits and serious students who are considering a 200-hr yoga training or those wishing to study a specialized field of yoga.
4. Can I attend this program (or individual modules) if I have an injury or special condition?
Yes. We ask that you practice responsibly and refrain from anything that may cause harm. You do not have to participate in all of the physical aspects of the practice – you are welcome to observe and you will still accrue hours.
5. Can I attend this program if I'm pregnant?
Yes. We ask that you practice responsibly and refrain from anything that may cause harm. You do not have to participate in all of the physical aspects of the practice – you are welcome to observe and you will still accrue hours.
6. What is the Sadhana 300-hr program cancellation and refund policy?
All modules are non-refundable. You can make up to a maximum of 3 modules at a future offering of the same module at Yoga Source. Alternately, you can make it up at another location where the module is offered at no additional cost. Modules are non-refundable and non-transferable.
7. What are the 300-hr graduation requirements?
In order to graduate the program you must be paid in full and fulfill the following requirements:
• Attendance of all in-class modules (total of at least 270 contact hours and 30 non-contact hours)
• Successful completion of homework and all in-class assignments
8. Can I practice at Yoga Source during the program?
When you enroll in a training program at Yoga Source (200/300hr), you will automatically receive the student rate ($10) for regularly scheduled classes for the course of the training. This benefit does not include workshops, other training programs and does not apply at any other location.
9. If I took a 200-hr training with another school, can I apply to your 300-hr program?
Yes!
10. Is there a minimum age requirement to take the training?
You must be at least 16 years old to attend the program or modules. If you are between 16 and 18 years old it is required that we receive approval from the trainer and written consent from your legal guardian before the start of the training.
11. Do you help organize accommodations for traveling students?
We do not organize accommodations for our trainings, but craigslist (www.craigslist.com) and airbnb (www.airbnb.com) are great sources for finding short-term housing.
12. Are any books and materials included in the price of the 300-hr program?
Digital Sadhana teacher training manuals are included, but you will need to purchase additional required books. All trainees in the 200/300-hr programs at Yoga Source receive a 20% discount off of merchandise and reading materials. See 300-hr training page for a list of required and suggested reading.

13. How many students are enrolled in the 300-hr program at one time? What is our capacity?
We typically have between 8-15 individuals in each module and our min/max capacity 15-35 per studio.
14. What is the 300-hr attendance and class make-up policy?
We encourage all of our students to strive for 100% attendance. A maximum of 1 hour can be missed within a module for required contact hours. Missed hours/ make up assignments must be completed prior to turning in homework and certification. Arrangements must be made by Program Director (Diane Malaspina) for makeup hours. In some instances, additional fees may be incurred for tutoring hours on content by one of the Sadhana YTT teachers.
Students can make up hours at locations outside of Yoga Source when the same module content is being offered at no extra charge. You can attend the days you missed in an upcoming training of the same format in another Sadhana training, free of additional class training charge. If the training is sold out, you will need to wait for a future training with space available to complete your make up(s). Please note that if you miss over 40 hours, you will not pass the 300-hr program and will be required to pay in full to retake the program.
15. What is the 300-hr attendance and class make-up policy?
To obtain certification, you must attend 100% of the classes to comply with Yoga Alliance requirements. However, we understand that you may not be able to foresee every conflict, so we have devised the following policy. If you miss more than 1 hour per module, you will be given the opportunity to make up the hours in a future training free of charge, subject to space availability.
16. What is the make-up policy for Yoga Source Apprenticeship Module?
You must complete all mentor meeting requirements in order to fulfill the Apprenticeship module hours. You can miss a maximum of one 30-minute meeting and makeup with an assignment issued by your Mentor. If you miss more than two mentor meetings, you will not pass the requirements of the Apprenticeship module and will not receive credit.

• You must give your Mentor 24 hours notice when you need to miss a class/mentor meeting.
• The make-up assignment will be at the discretion of your mentor and must be completed within one month of the apprenticeship session end date.
For those who do not pass the Apprenticeship module, you will have the opportunity to complete a
new apprenticeship at the then current cost of the apprenticeship module.
17. How much time should I expect to spend on 300-hr homework?
Expect to spend between 3-12 hours per module on homework. The homework is designed to support the material covered in class and help you integrate what is presented into your own practice and teaching.
