Holly Henty

Holly, a life-long seeker of truth, fell in love with yoga asana in 2000 and has evolved to appreciate all the gifts of yoga as tools of exploration, transformation and evolution.  She believes that yoga can ultimately lead us to our true nature and remind us of all that we already are.  She inspires her students to connect with their essence through a self awareness of the love and wholeness that is at the core of their being.

Holly's authentic, heartfelt classes weave awakened consciousness into her vibrant teaching.  Influenced by Ashtanga and Iyengar teachings during her first 200-hour hatha yoga teacher training in 2003 at Yoga Source in Richmond, Holly's classes integrate sophisticated yet easy to follow alignment of the body's innate cellular intelligence with the spirit of the heart and the light of the soul.  Meeting students where they are, she is dedicated to communicating the essence of yoga as union and connection to source.

In 2013 Holly discovered the power of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to expand consciousness and open to joy.  She completed her 200-hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training in Charlottesville in 2014 and is dedicated to sharing the teachings of Yogi Bhajan to create vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and spiritual awareness.  Holly encourages her students to embrace and be present with all of life's experiences both on and off the mat, and to listen to their own internal wisdom to open to the possibilities of life in the eternal Now.

Holly loves to continually learn, grow and evolve through the practice and teaching of yoga.  She enjoys reading and spending time with trees, her husband and her two daughters.
