Jennie Choi
Jennie has been following her yoga path since high school, when she was given a copy of the Sivananda Companion to Yoga. She was immediately drawn to the yogic lifestyle, as it resonated deeply within her soul. Jennie aspires to cultivate an integration of the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of yoga, to fulfill her highest potential in this life. Her life's purpose is to serve others by sharing her practice, in any way that is welcomed by her students and anyone in her life that wishes to learn more from her. She has completed RYT200 yoga teacher training, and is an Early Childhood Exceptional Education teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching yoga to children, under the training and mentorship of Lydia "Nitya" Griffith.
Her favorite place to be is in the mountains, preferably on a lake, and loves to use inspiration and imagery from nature when guiding her students on the mat. Underlying her personal philosophy to teaching is an appreciation for the interconnectedness of all living beings, and the simple but powerful idea that "truth is one, paths are many".

“When you open yourself to the continually changing, impermanent, dynamic nature of your own being and of reality, you increase your capacity to love and care about other people and your capacity to not be afraid. You're able to keep your eyes open, your heart open, and your mind open.” -Pema Chodron
