KC received her 200-hr certification from Shanti Garudasana Yoga School in 2016. She initially found yoga to supplement her dance training as a teenager dealing with several sports-related injuries. soon she discovered that yoga was a powerful outlet for her to express herself in an authentic and genuine way. She continues to practice today because she loves the inner power that asanas create, the balance yoga brings to her life and mind, and the challenge of mastering new asanas. Her goals as a teacher are to use her educational background in biomechanics and human anatomy to guide her students into and out of asanas in a creative and purposeful way - helping students to find movement that is beneficial for their bodies and helps to create positive energy that can be taken off the mat and into the world. She also hopes to create a space for students to express their gratitude for their practice in body, mind, and spirit.
